Research Interests: Metal joining, hard facing, additive manufacturing, light metals, high temperature materials, functional materials and metal matrix nanocomposites.
Dr Mahesh Kumar Talari is currently working as Professor in the Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Department at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India. Dr Mahesh has been with NIT Warangal since May 2018. Dr Mahesh worked as Assistant Professor at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia from May 2008 to May 2018. He obtained PhD degree from IIT Madras in the year 2007. His research interests are metal joining, hard facing, additive manufacturing, light metals, high-temperature materials, functional materials and metal matrix nanocomposites. Dr. Mahesh has published 50+ peer-reviewed journal/conference publications. He has successfully completed 14 sponsored projects from various funding agencies and guided 10 Ph.D students in the field of metallurgical and materials engineering.
