Research Interest: Our research interest focuses on addressing problems in the interface of Physics and Biology by developing computational and statistical mechanics models. We use computer simulation to address a wide range of interdisciplinary problems, in close collaboration with experimental Physicists and Biologists. Some specific topics of interest are as follows: (i) Diffusion in crowded, confined environments, (ii) Statistical physics of biopolymers: shapes, dynamics, and translocation of model polymers, (iii) Effect of crowding on the configurations of DNA, (iv) 2D polymer network as a model for the hydrogel, (V) Kinetics of Drug Delivery.
