Dr. Prasanth Anand Kumar Lam is an Assistant Professor at NIT Warangal from Jan 2020. He had around three and a half years of industrial experience in the Global R&D Centers of LG Electronics (2016 - 2018) and Whirlpool of India Ltd. (2018 - 2020). At both LG and Whirlpool, he worked on the development of Energy-Efficient (without/with Vacuum Insulated Panels) Frost Free Refrigerators. He received his Ph.D. and M.Tech degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai. In his Ph.D., he studied various active and passive heat transfer augmentation technologies for jet impingement cooling systems with regard to electronic cooling applications. His research interests include Computational Fluid Dynamics, Turbulence, Aerodynamics, Fluid-Structure Interaction, Biofluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer Augmentation, and Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning.
