Biography

Mahamad Nabab Alam received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2018. He has a Post-Doc Fellow from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Warangal. His current research interests include power system protection, distribution automation, artificial intelligence techniques, and networked microgrids. He is a member of The Smart Grids International Research Facility Network (SIRFN) and is associated with developing Power System Testing cases under SIRFN. Stanford University has listed him among the Top 2% of Scientists Across the World in 2021 and 2022. He is an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Energy Research journal for a special issue on Advanced Protection Schemes for the Smart Grid. He has reviewed several articles for leading IEEE, IET, Elsevier, and Springer journals.
