- Organized a AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy sponosred Online Faculty Development Programme (Advanced Level) on "Signal Processing for Cognitive Neuroscience Applications" at NIT Meghalaya, 17 -21 January 2022.
- Organized a AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy sponosred Online Faculty Development Programme (Elementary Level) on "Signal Processing for Cognitive Neuroscience Applications" at NIT Meghalaya, 02 - 06 November 2021.
- Organized an event of "HACKATHON 2021" at NIT Meghalaya with the support of TEQIP during 26 and 27 February 2021 through online mode. In this event students of UG and PG from various institutions were demonstrated their solutions for solving the problems in the following areas:
- Agriculture and Rural Development.
- Healthcare and Bio-medical Devices.
- Smart Systems.
- Renewable Energy Sources for
- Rural Development.
- Waste Management.
In each area two best proposals has been awarded with an amount Rs. 20,000.00 and Rs. 10,000.00. The total an amount Rs. 1,50,000.00 has been distributed to the winners of the event.
- Organized an event of "INNOVATHON 2021" at NIT Meghalaya with the support of TEQIP on 30-01-2021 through online mode. In this event around 15 proposals were presented by students of B.Tech., M.Tech., M.Sc., and Ph.D. scholars. Out of the presented proposals 8 projects were shortlisted and finance support of Rs. 1,46,000.00 has been provided by TEQIP-III for implementation.
- Organized a five days workshop on "Role of Technical Institutions in Fostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship" during 04-09-2020 to 08-09-2020 in online mode for students and faculty members of various institutions.
- Organized HACKATHON 2020 on 27-02-2020 in association with the State Council of Science, Technology & Environment (SCSTE) Meghalaya with the support of TEQIP - III to address the following prime focused areas of the state of Meghalaya.
- Soil and water conservation
- Water supply and sanitation
- Farming
In each area two best proposals has been awarded with an amount Rs. 20,000.00 and Rs. 10,000.00. The total an amount Rs. 90,000.00 has been distributed to the winners of the event.
- Organized an internal Hackathon for the problems which were given in the Smart India Hackathon 2020 for encouraging the students to participate in that event and six proposals were shortlisted and submitted to the Smart India Hackathon 2020.
- Organized "INNOVATHON - 2019" which was held on 28-08-2019, in this event students and faculty members of NIT Meghalaya and also from other Organizations/Institutions presented project proposals for solving the livelihood problems of the state of Meghalaya. Out of the presented proposals 15 projects were shortlisted and finance support of Rs. 11,21,469.00 has been provided by the State Council of Science, Technology & Environment (SCSTE), Meghalaya under Scheme Sponsored Projects 2019.
- Organized a workshop on “Advancements in Signal Processing and Optimization Technique”, Funded by E&ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati, at NIT Meghalaya, 03-07 June 2019.
- Oraginized a IEEE Technically Co-sponsored Int. Conference on Innovations in Electronics, Signal Processing and Communication (IESC) as Convener at National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, Shillong, India during 1 - 2 March 2019.
